The mobile library is a visually appealing, interactive book housing structure on wheels, where children can be inspired by literature and take home books to continue their reading adventure! The committee has also begun planning several of its own unique events in which the mobile library will play a significant role. In subsequent years, the committee will mold the scope of the literacy project to fit the needs of both JLSA and the community.

Besides creating worthwhile service opportunities for League members and fostering positive community relationships, the hope is for this project to increase reading enthusiasm and provide access to books for young people across San Angelo and the surrounding counties. A great place for families. Pearl on the Concho is a unique place to stay. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Room was comfortable, clean, updated. The huge indoor atrium with pool, putt putt, arcade games is a family feature not seen anywhere else I have been. The room had a odor of stale cigarette smoke. This place was so noisy we could not sleep. The pool closed at PM so after that there were doors slamming, kids screaming, running upstairs sounding like they were going to fall through the ceiling. There was hair in the bathtub.

Could not get the TV to work after turning it off. It was on when we got to the room. I am so sorry you experienced issues during your stay. I am not sure if you reported the issue of an odor in your room or not - we are a non-smoking hotel, so I am concerned you had this problem, and we would have happily moved you to another room.

I also regret you were disturbed by noise in the atrium. With all of the amenities offered, it can get a bit loud - especially on a busy weekend.

The staff was helpful and friendly, beds were comfortable there was a slight smell in our room that I noticed but it just smelled like carpet cleaner or something like it.

We ate at the restaurant and the pizza and chicken quesadillas were great but it did take awhile to get our food. My boys loved all the activities to do pool tables, ping pong, putt putt, and swimming which are all indoors. Date of stay: July Trip type: Traveled with family.
